Wyatt Klaus Muhlestein

“Wyatt” is a name we liked and it turns out is also a family name on my mom’s (Boone) side of the family.  “Klaus” is Megan’s dad’s middle name.

“Muhlestein” just seemed like a good idea.

Born at 12:12PM.  Weighed 8lb 15.3oz (big baby) and measured 21” long.

Megan is doing fine.  She woke up to contractions at 5:15 and delivered just after noon.  Most of that time we spent just laying down and waiting – Megan had an epidural and didn’t feel a thing.  From the time the doctor first came in to check on her until delivery was ~16 minutes.

First time Harry saw his brother – didn’t work out so well.

Harry actually warming up to and meeting his brother.  He’s not really sure what it means to have a little brother but he’s good at giving Wyatt kisses and he seems to like the baby.  We’ll see how things go when we go home and his mom has somebody else to spend time with besides Harry.

I am so happy for you! Wyatt is a darling name, and he's so cute. I have to laugh because Levi thought you were me, and the baby was Dana. So, he thinks Harry is him, Wyatt is Dana, and you are me. It's not coincidental because he's never mixed any of us up with anyone else on blogs :) Hope your recovery and first few nights go well.
