Discovery Gateway

We went to the new Discovery Gateway while we were in Utah!  It used to be the children’s museum, and it had a lot of the same things, but newer and nicer.  For those of you that know the old children’s museum building, did you know that it had a swimming pool in the back?  My mom used to take lessons there.  Of course when the children’s museum was there they had emptied the pool, but once when we were there they let us have a peek in back – it was behind the entrance desk! 

Harry LOVED the helicopter.  It is an old life flight helicopter.  He also spent a lot of time with the balls that you could put into vacuum tubes.  Actually, he could have done that the whole time he liked it so much.  He was so tuckered out by the end of the day!  In total we checked out the balls and tubes, the farmland, the splash pools, the helicopter, the technology section, AND then we went to Jason’s Deli after it all!  The food was so mouthwatering.  It was such a joy to see him play and have so much fun and to be there with mom!!
